Venue and Accomodations

The symposium will be held at the Kasteliotissa, an attractive monument with a vaulted ceiling and the only surviving part of the famous Lusignan Palace. The venue is in old Nicosia so it is close to shops, restaurants, pedestrian zones and accomodation. (The Castelli and Holiday Inn are adjacent to the site; the Centrum is a ten-minute walk away.)

Holiday Inn and Castelli Hotel are booked through the same desk. Rooms are being held until March 30. Reservations to be made by e-mail. Room rates are per day and include breakfast. Rates are quoted in Cyprus pounds. Exchange rates are approximately one Cyprus pound to 1.72 euros, 2.62 dollars (CDN).

Note: Symposium participants are encouraged to book their accomodations by March 16th (Centrum Hotel) or March 30 ( Holiday Inn and Castelli Hotel) in order to ensure that rooms are available.
